The perfect pixel art motif
To ensure your pixel art motif works well, you should pay attention to the following points:
- Clear contrasts: The greater the difference between subject and background, the better the effect.
- Not too many people: Portraits with 1-2 people or animals in focus are ideal.
- Reduced details: Small patterns, many fine lines or busy backgrounds get lost in the pixelation or make the subject look restless.
- Pay attention to lighting conditions: Avoid harsh shadows or bright backlighting.

Answers to your questionsYou upload your favorite photo, we dot it into a paste-by-numbers artwork, and send you an email with our proposal for approval (or corrections). After your approval, we'll custom print your poster or board with your color codes. You'll then receive your My Pixelart with a grid and color codes, as well as the matching adhesive dots – then it's time to stick your design dot by dot!
Not sure if your photo is suitable? Feel free to send us two or three photos to choose from. We'll then select the best one. We can also send you a free, no-obligation preview of your image so you can better visualize it.
Not at all. The principle is super simple – you glue by numbers. So, color 01 on all surfaces with the code 01. All glue dots of color 02 on the surfaces with 02, etc.
No painting, no drawing. Just the joy of creating.
The event set is designed for weddings and other festivities: In addition to the high-quality, sturdy plate, you also get extra adhesive dots - so that you can stick them all at the same time and, even if a sheet disappears, you can still complete your pixel art work.
Depending on the image size, your pace, and whether you're working alone or with a group, it will take approximately 2–5 hours. This is ideal for relaxing creative time, me-time, or shared DIY moments, for example, at parties.
In fact, our experience has shown that the motifs are always finished: some guests always get into a sticking flow and want to finish sticking the motif!
In principle, photos with 2 to 4 people are also possible – but there are a few things you should keep in mind when selecting your image: Clear contrasts . Not too many people. Reduced details . Consider lighting conditions.
